Social Exclusion and Social Cohesion


Researchers in the social exclusion and social cohesion cluster, explore issuess of social cohesion and social inclusion for marginalised groups such as the homelessness, those with mental health issues and the socially and economically disadvantaged.

A key focus is connecting to theory and exploring cross discplinary approaches including drawing from sociology, geography and public health.

  • social mix and inclusive neighbourhoods
  • social capital and healthy communities
